Black Japanese Vase, 9.5" tall - Perhaps Tokanabe?

Description

Black, textured vase with red and gold painted decorations; features bird and flowering vine. Approximately 9.5" tall. Stamped with "Made in Japan" on bottom. Based on my research, it could be a Tokanabe vase, but I have no documentation to back that up.
I know almost nothing about this piece, as it belonged to my wife's grandmother.
