Description
The FILAMATIC® AB-5 Series Benchtop is a semi-automatic medium duty filler, ideal for repetitive dispensing of liquids from water-thin to semi-viscous, molten products, and products with small particulates. The AB-5 can accommodate fill volumes ranging from 1ml-to 130ml with the ability to mix and match pumps and nozzles for optimal versatility and flexibility.
This single nozzle filling machine incorporates a variable speed electrical gearmotor drive, which turns the crankshaft that drives a volumetric piston pump known as a “Filling Unit”. The Filling Units are accessories offered to dispense a wide range of liquids and are made from either glass or stainless steel. Designs are available for OEM Applications as well as CE Mark certified, and air operated models for hazardous environments.
The Model AB-5 delivers a fill speed at a max rate of 35 RPM or 35 bottles per minute theoretically. Ideal for fill volumes from 1ml-130ml. When filling semi viscous liquids such as MCT oils, lotions, essential oils etc. FILAMATIC recommends a 60ml capacity pump with a fill volume range of 6ml-60ml. This recommendation is based on the torque the AB-5 delivers. The 130ml pump is recommended for aqueous liquids only.
