    Description

    This is a beautiful musical figurine made by Goldscheider fine china (Trenton and Vienna) to commemorate the 100
    th
    anniversary of the Singer Sewing Machine Company in 1951.
    The figurine stands roughly 8-1/4” tall.
    It is in very good used condition with no apparent chips, cracks or repairs.
    There is some glaze crazing, typical of pieces of this age.
    The colors are nice and bright and the floral pattern on her dress add to the appeal.
    Original paper sticker on the bottom of the music box states that the song is “Anniversary Waltz”.
    There is a number “7” handwritten on the bottom.
    I read somewhere that “only 1000 were made and each was numbered on the bottom” but the only others I have seen on the internet, also had the number “7” on them so I am guessing it must represent a location or inspector.
