Offered for sale is a fine studio porcelain vase, hand-painted with grapevines in cobalt blue on a bisque ground; the shoulder and collar foot have brown glaze over cobalt decoration. The only mark is a tiny cobalt mark that looks like a small cross attached to a horseshoe. I don't recognize this mark, but I believe it is Japanese.
The large vase stands 12 3/4 inches tall by 7 inches wide at the shoulder.
Condition: Excellent near-mint condition. No chips, cracks or repairs.
There is one small area low on the body, where the cobalt decoration is fainter, as shown. Please view the detail photos.
The vase weighs 5 lbs (shipping weight 9 lbs). Shipping is by the methods listed in the shipping calculator.
