This type of nodder troll is very rare, as the finish on them is actually paper mache, and  they get marked up, or damaged easily. This little guy would be appropriate in a troll, lion, animal, or nodder collection. He has a smooth flocked body, is 4" from his feet to the top of his head, and 6 1/2" in length. He stands firmly supported by flat three-toes feet. A tuffed tail and soft dark hair on the head adorns his toll-face head. The head is weighed with a metal block, is suspended from a metal eyelet hanger inside the neck. The metal which forms the hanger is a solid piece which ends at the base of the throat, becoming wider toward its bottom. It serves two purposes, one as the hanger, and also as a means  of controlling the head's nodding range. The eyes are inset, clear, with black pupils, and a troll grin on his face. This is a very special nodder, and being of this quality, makes him especially valuable. He is marked on his underbelly "dabs/Japan/PAT Pend No. 22224. He's a great find, and will make a fantastic addition to your collection. He is the troll in the pictures.
