    Description

    Rainbow Obsidian, Aurora Borealis in a Piece of Stone, Central Mexico.  I purchased this material in Magdalena, Mexico several years ago.  It is found in vast fields of obsidian surrounding the town which is about 20 miles north of the fabled Tequila.   When the sun or bright light catches the layers within the obsidian right, the glow of colors blasts out.   You could slab and cab a few pieces out of this.  4/5 of a pound.
