    Description

    Superb Handmade Recorder

    New!
To professional recorder players the name Ralf Netsch needs no introduction.
Arguably he is the maker of the world's finest handmade recorders.
Offered from his workshop and brand new are several fine examples which I handpicked for the American market.
Ralf has been a personal friend for many years during which I've played, tested and sold his recorders in New York City. Since recent laws have made the import from Germany much more difficult (especially since many of them are made from exotic woods and materials) he decided to have a source for American players to play test the instruments.
They will be available in my home or workshop or can be shipped.
This listing is for a Ganassi G Alto recorder in plumwood. The tuning of this body is at A=440.
There are additional bodies avail able at A=460 and A=415. Each body costs an additional 9.
The Ganassi is a personal favorite. It plays with a big rich tone and is the perfect companion to Renaissance and other Early Music. The distinctive tone really carries in outdoor venues.
Each recorder also includes a handmade padded fabric bag made by Daniella Netsch in assorted fabrics and colors.
Additional recorder bags are also available by contacting me through "ask seller a question".
These recorders are shipped to the US only. For Europe you can buy directly from Ralf through his website:
