    From the famed Dara-i-Pech pegmatite field in Afghanistan, this example of Spodumene might not have the lilac purple coloration of Kunzite or the emerald green coloration of Hiddenite, but it does have two additional mineral partners as a larger and multiple smaller Smoky Quartz points come off the matrix or Microline which is the stage for the two pale yellow-green Spodumenes that guard the edge of this rock. The association of these three minerals makes this special, and the Spodumene crystals are well-formed.
