    Please check your vacuum switch - does it have one gray nipple? This is the correct part!
    If your
    vacuum switch has TWO nipples
    (
    one gray and one black nipple
    )
    - please mention this when you order it!
    Models 2003 and older:
    Connect the hose to the BLACK port
    (positive fitting - pressure).
    Models 2004 and till now:
    Connect the hose to the GRAY port
    (negative fitting - vacuum).
    This part fits St. Croix pellet stove models: Afton Bay, Prescott, York Insert, Hastings, Lincoln SCR, Lancaster, Auburn, Greenfield, Ashby MF, Revolution Multi-fuel Furnace, SCF-050 Corn Furnace.

    A correct working stove maintains a vacuum pressure on the air intake side, controlled by the vacuum switch. If you by-pass this switch and you stove works again, either your vacuum switch is bad or there is no sufficient vacuum or both...
    Please read:
    If you simply bypass the vacuum switch, your stove may working again... But, you still DON'T have a sufficient vacuum in your burning chamber and
    deadly carbon monoxide
    may get released into your room.
    A correct damper setting (air supply) and clean exhaust system is essential for proper operation! The burning pellets should move (wiggle) around slightly and the flame should be bright yellow.
    NOTE:
    The safety switches & vacuum switch have to operate under very harsh conditions -
    there is no dependable way to test them
    .
    Replace the
    limit switches and the vacuum switch
    on your stove -
    FOR YOUR SAFETY
    and to prevent unpredictable shut downs on a cold day!
