Vintage Dam Troll! 7” Orange Fur Hair Green Glass Eyes! Denmark! 1964! Bank!

This is an adorable 7” tall vintage troll doll by Dam! He has nice orange fur hair and green glass eyes! He was a promotional troll for Palo Alto Savings and loan that was a gift to the customer for opening an account! His message was to save for a rainy day! He wears his original outfit consisting of a pair of blue felt pants and a yellow vinyl raincoat that is attached to his body in the front with two black brads! He also wears his matching yellow vinyl rain hat on his head that is attached to his head with two long staples! The rain hat is usually missing on these trolls! This troll is a bank and has a slot on his back for depositing your coins! He still has his original hard plastic tag hanging around one wrist that has “ Palo Alto Savings & Loan” imprinted on the front in black! This troll is stamped Thomas Dam within a circle around the coin slot on his back! He is also stamped with a copyright mark 1964 #190198 and Denmark inside of an indented circle on the bottom of one foot! This troll is in very good preowned condition for his ripe old age of 56 except for a hole on the back of the rain hat and his glass eyes have cracks! One eye is more obvious than the other but his charm shines through!
