Vintage or possibly antique paper mache and cloth doll
Paper mache head with handpainted facial features
Soft cloth body
Curly red hair and bead earrings peak out from her hooded cape
Cape and floor length dress are made from a thick floral print fabric, trimmed with brown fringe/bric-a-brac
She's clutching a felt handbag and a section of newspaper (in English, appears to reference the explosion of the USS Maine in 1884)
The most unique feature of this doll is her apron, which is covered with accessories such as metal keys, metal iron, metal dustbin, flatware, scissors and thread ... among other things
Her dress is lined with a stiff muslin, under which she wears a lace-trimmed cotton skirt pantaloons
Her feet are covered with brown satin slippers / shoes
Measures approx. 9.5" tall
No tags or labels
No odors, cracks or stains, some fading of costume from exposure to sunlight, fabric covering hands could use a few stitches, see photos
