VINTAGE JAPANESE SATSUMA CRACKLE VASE GREEN GOLD PEACOCK FLORAL 10" GREEN MARK

Description

Satsuma style vase with cream background crackle finish decorated in shades of green and gold with ivory/white accents.  A peacock is the focal point on front with flowers surrounding and smaller area of floral on back.  The green bands around the top and lower have gold decoration.  Measures just over 10" tall, long neck with opening at top is 2.5" wide, bulbous body is 4.5" wide and the base 2.5".  Heavy body with a dull thud when tapped - no ring sound even at the neck.  Stamp marked in green on the base along with a paper sticker 'Made in Japan'.  Without visible chips or cracks.  No idea of it's true age but probably made for trade demand of tourists.  Please refer to pictures and ask any questions prior to bidding.
This item will ship wrapped and double boxed to protect it from the shipping gorillas across the country.
