VINTAGE THOMAS DAM GIRL TROLL BANK WILD GRAY HAIR ORIG FELT BOWS DENMARK 7" 1961

Description

Offered at auction from a local South Florida Estate, is  a  Very  Nice  VINTAGE  " 1961  THOMAS  DAM  GIRL  TROLL  BANK ".  The Troll is Marked on its Back over the Coin Slot Opening with the Thomas Dam markings.  Beautifully Thick and WILD  Gray Mohair with Original Felt Bows.  I believe that the Gray and White Mohair Trolls are Harder-to-Find.  Yellow and Lavender Felt Jumper .  Light Blue Eyes.
The Vinyl Troll Body itself Measures 6 1/2" to Top of Skull.
Through my Research, it appears they consider these Banks 7".   I also believe, although Not Certain, this Bank Was Made  in Denmark in 1961.  I found a Similar One with Identical Color Felt Clothing from that Year.  I believe the Head is removable so that Coins could be removed.
CONDITION:
EXCELLENT   NEAR  MINT  VINTAGE  CONDITION :  I am Not an Expert on Vintage Trolls. The Felt Clothing is Vibrant and Appears Like New with No Soiling, No Tears. The Rivets attaching Clothing Appear Very Secure. Doll Itself has Great Skin Tone. No Visible Fading, No Soiling. Bottom of Feet Show Some Expected Rub Wear Marks.   Eyes have No Chips, No Scratches.  Mohair Appears Long and Thick .  Does  Not  Appear  Tangled.  Original Felt Bows Appear Crisp and Not Torn or Tattered.   It Appears that THIS Troll Doll was Not Played With and Kept Most of its Life in Storage or on a Shelf.
