A COPY of a Dooley Foot Manual - This is printed off of the internet to give you a copy of the instructions for use.
This foot was patented in 1929 as the first multipurpose sewing machine presser foot. It is advertised to sew 8 ways:
Hemstitching
Picoting
Embroidering
Crochet Foundation
Binding
Tucking
Shirring - please note that you need to have the shirrer attachment to be able to perform this function. The Shirrer attachment is NOT included.
Smocking
And can be used for Regular Sewing.
Various manufacturers like White, and New Home made top-clamping machines.
I do not know which top-clamping machine this Dooley Presser Foot will fit. Please look carefully to make sure this will fit your machine.
